Haasbot 2.1 has been released

Welcome to Haasbot 2.1. We are pleased to announce that we are releasing this somewhat major update! There are quite a few changes as well as the much anticipated integration with the whiteserver network. This release also addresses the issues that users had with Cryptsy, so you guys should be good to with this.

In addition, we are going to start powering on with more beta builds for Haasbot 2.1.1, so get ready beta testing team! We have very ambitious plans, such as speeding up the price polling to around 1 second. This will be an option, as it will require more CPU resources, but we will finally be able to allow users to do some real time trading with haasbot! This is a big step for us and it will push our whiteserver network to the limit 🙂 We would also like to announce that we have gotten half of the exchanges we support to whitelist our whiteservers, which will enable us to get going with real time trading. I cannot give an ETA on this yet, but thats the direction we are heading. We will also be adding orderbook data for the marketview page, as well as for the trade bots, so you will have everything you need to do manual trades via the marketview page.

Changed:
[Exchanges] TestAPI removed (please use the SandboxAPI instead)
[Exchanges] Virtex support dropped
[Arbitrage-bot] On request the default response is set to stop the bot if a arbitrage-route fails
[FrameWork] Native price tracking made optional to use

[Dashboard] Extended filter with a sort function (A-Z & Z-A)

Haasbot 2.1 Development Update

We just wanted to give you guys an update on where we are, since we have been quiet recently but we have been working hard on the whiteserver and the beta. Basically, we will be having two beta builds which will be released one after the other. The first beta build is to test the durability and performance of the whiteserver. Once we have seen how this performs, we will either scale up our whiteservers in preparation for a release and then release the second beta to double check that everything is working as intended or we will fix any issues we have and then release the second beta build.

To test the beta, just shoot me (Phillis) a PM on our forums and I will add you to the beta testing forum group and you will find instructions/a build once we have released it.

This beta build also includes some changes and some bug fixes. Below is a list of changes/fixes:

We are looking for OSX beta testers!

We are proud to announce that we have been making great progress on porting Haasbot over to OSX. Because of the recent breakthrough, we are going to start beta testing Haasbot in OSX in roughly 1 to 2 weeks. If you are interested in beta testing the OSX version of Haasbot, please send me (Phillis) a PM and I will add you to the OSX Beta Testing group.

The OSX version of Haasbot is exactly the same as windows and once we have successfully beta tested and released Haasbot for OSX, we will move over to beta testing the Linux version of Haasbot.

Haasbot OSX
Keep in mind that initially, the UI for OSX is a crappy looking winform GUI, but this will be replaced with a native OSX UI once we have confirmed that everything is functional and meets our performance standards. It may not be pretty at first (just the UI when you right click the Haasbot icon in system tray in windows), but we will get there and we are looking to mainly test functionality.

But anyways, shoot me a PM (Phillis) on our forums if you are interested in testing the OSX version of Haasbot and I will add you to the group!

Note: You need to have an active Haasbot License to be included in Beta Testing.

Haasbot 2.0 has been released!

Haasbot 2.0 is now available to all Haasbot users!

We are proud to announce that Haasbot 2.0 is now live! To update, simply right click on the Haasbot icon in your system tray, then click “Check for updates.” Follow the instructions and you will be upgraded to Haasbot 2.0.

Haasbot 2.0 has a multitude of new features, such as the completely redesigned interface, new indicators, new pages for monitoring orders and much more!

Haasbot 2.0 Ichimoku Clouds

Keep in mind, Haasbot 2.0 will not initially have the white server integrated. We are working to get that running to our standards so that your trading experience is the best possible.

New Features
– New advanced license indicators: Ichimoku Clouds, Fibonacci Retracements, and Elliot Wave Prediction.
New Order View Page: Displays all queued, executing, and completed orders.
Marketview Page: Execute orders in a snap while watching the charts.
Price Comparison Page: View all the different exchanges prices for a particular currency pair that you are connected to.
Dashboard Page: View all of your bots in action! Live trades and quickly activate and deactivate bots.

Changes
– We will be slowly depreciating support for the 1.3.x/1.4.x versions of Haasbot. That means we will focus future development to Haasbot 2.0. If you are a fan of the 1.3.x/1.4.x Classic Interface, then you can revert back to that version and use that, but keep in mind that within a few months, we will fully stop supporting it. We advise you to check out the 2.0 interface and to try to become accustomed to it.

We hope that you enjoy Haasbot 2.0 and be sure to submit any questions, bug reports, or concerns on our forum. We will do what we can to accommodate your needs/requests.

Haasbot 2.0 will be released on Monday

First, we would like to thank all of our Haasbot 2.0 beta testers for playing a huge role in finding bugs and issues for us to fix for Haasbot 2.0. You guys have helped us a lot to make Haasbot a better product and the end result is that we are finally ready to launch Haasbot 2.0 to all Haasbot users! We are excited to see that months of hard work and some very long work days have lead us to this point. We are proud to announce that Haasbot 2.0 will be released on Monday, January 26th, 2015.

Whats new in Haasbot 2.0?

Haasbot 2.0 incorporates a completely new web interface that is candlestick chart based and that integrates our different bot types into these charts. With Haasbot 2.0, you can gain even more insight into which trading strategies you should be running as well as a clean new interface that has some new pages like comparing the price of USD/BTC with all the exchanges that you are connected to.

Haasbot 2.0 ichi clouds

In addition to the new interface, we also added 3 new indicators, which are Elliot Wave prediction, IchiClouds, and Fibonacci Retracements. These are part of our commitment to keep adding as many new and useful indicators as possible to Haasbot.

We have also created a completely new bot type, which is called “Script Bots.” Script Bots are completely programmable (C#) and allow you to fully develop your own bot types to do whatever you would like them to.

In addition to these changes, we have developed a “whiteserver,” which is a server that collects data from exchanges and then relays the price data to the Haasbot software. This will increase the performance of Haasbot on exchanges with weak APIs, so that you get the best trading experience possible. This will be an on-going process and the whiteserver will not be released with Haasbot 2.0.0.0, but it will be included at a later date.

Haasbot 1.3.x/1.4.x and Haasbot 2.0

We would like to officially announce that we are going to be eventually depreciating support to the 1.3.x and future 1.4.x builds of Haasbot. That means that over the next 2 months, we will be slowing our development and support of these builds, as the future of Haasbot is with Haasbot 2.0. We understand that there may be a few users who prefer Haasbot 1.3.x/1.4.x over Haasbot 2.0, which is why we are giving a 2 month transition period to get familiar with Haasbot 2.0. This does not mean that Haasbot 1.3.x/1.4.x will not work, it just means we will stop supporting it/developing that build further after 2 months.

Be sure to let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we hope that you enjoy the next chapter of Haasbot!

Haasbot Version 1.2.0.0 Update

Welcome to the next Haasbot update, which is 1.2.0.0!

This release builds upon our work that we had done in version 1.1.0.0 but takes it a step further. This release implements a few new features, such as Bitfinex Double Margin and includes new altcoin pairs on all of the exchanges!

Here is a summery of whats new and what bugs have been fixed.

New Features

  • Double Margin Trading at Bitfinex – This allows users with bitfinex accounts to trade 100% with leverage. That means opening longs (and closing shorts) on Buy Signals and opening shorts (and closing longs) on Sell Singals! Read more about it on our wiki: https://wiki.haasonline.com/Leveraged_Trading_Bitfinex
  • Instant Update to Trade Bot Signals – When you change something in an active trade bot, the changes used to not be displayed for a minute, but this has now been changed so it is instant.
  • Added LTC/BTC at Virtex. Arbitrage is now fully functional on Virtex!
  • 2 price servers for good price reading at Crypty – This should increase stability and speed of cryptsy.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug with different denominations of crypto. For example an with 0.00001 and 0.00000001 would cause an error.
  • Added support for scientific notation for Bitstamp
  • Cryptsy integration has been optimized for windows 2012 server.
  • Improvements for Windows Server
  • Improvements to the Charts (backend related)
  • Postsharp Kernel updated
  • Script Indicator price history is fixed

We hope that you enjoy this release and let us know if you have any issues.

Haasbot Version 1.1.0 Update

Haasbot Version 1.1.0 Update

Haasonline Software has been working tirelessly to provide the best bitcoin trading bot available. As many of you have noticed, we have recently launched version 1.0, along with our wiki and our forums. Version 1.0 introduced new features that the cryptocurrency trading community has not seen, such as internal arbitrage bots and order bots.

Our forum community has been amazing with how quickly they identify some issues and what they want to be added in the future. We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone on the forums, who has helped us to identify any issues as it allows us to produce the best product we can.

With the version 1.0 being complete, we have been working a bit on the future of Haasbot. We have been looking to expand the abilities of Haasbot for version 1.1.0, which is our next major release. Version 1.1.0 ushers in a new era of cryptocurrency trading features, which are outlined below.

  • Virtex Bitcoin and Litecoin Exchange Now Supported – Virtex is a growing bitcoin and litecoin exchange that allows traders to trade USD/BTC, Euro/BTC, USD/LTC, and Euro/LTC. Their volume is growing and we have decided to add Virtex to the supported exchange list. Virtex has a very fast API and low latency, which is great for Haasbot users.
  • Bitfinex Leveraged Trading – You will be able to use the Margin/Leveraged trading feature on Bitfinex via trade bots. This will allow users to automate leveraged trading with 2 options, one of which is available in this version. The first option (which is available now) is allowing a user to only execute a long/short trade and close it, based on the trade signals. The second option (which is not available yet, but it will be supported in the future) is to execute both long and short trades, where a long will be created on buy signals and a short will be created on sell signals. Haasbot will automatically close the long/short positions before creating the opposite trade type.
  • Local Cache Server – This adds another layer to our price tracking system, so that backtests and indicator tests can be ran locally on the users machine instead of sending a query to our price tracking server. This should provide a boost in performance and make it easier to test trading strategies.
  • Sandbox API – The Sandbox API acts as a “fake API,” where you can run live tests on the exchange of your choice, without any trades being executed. This is a way that Haasbot users can test their strategies with live price data, without having to actually trade it. This will be useful for testing market condition specific trading strategies without executing any trades.
  • Trade Now Button in Classic Interface – A Trade Now button will appear in the classic interface, which will then pop open a trading window, which allows a user to quickly execute Market or Limit orders on any of the exchanges they are trading on. This allows for a quick buy/sell in case the market conditions quickly change and a user wants to manually execute an order.
  • Performance Increase – Version 1.1.0 (some aspects may be included in earlier builds) will have an increase in performance. This is due to a few additions, such as the addition of the price push api’s from the exchanges, as well as other additions.

We hope everyone enjoys this update, as it is a step towards where want to our software to be heading in the future. Let us know if you have any comments or concerns!
